Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), a statutory body tasked with cultivating and promoting I&T companies across the region, has opened HKSTP Experience Centre, its purpose-built interactive venue, to showcase the pioneering work of its I&T partner companies in four main areas – artificial intelligence and robotics, financial technology, biomedical, and data and smart city. Visitors are taken on a sensory journey where they can see, touch and play with the new technologies. There are also displays of “art tech” created by six renowned Chinese digital artists based around the world, as part of a tech art project titled “MAN-MADE”, to encourage people to reappraise design and art through the use of technology. More importantly, HKSTP Experience Centre serves as a one-stop venue where people can discover what Hong Kong I&T companies have achieved – and their visions for the future.
