We had no idea how popular our car camping videos from last year would become so we decided to give you a tour of our 2021 Car Camping Setup for our 2018 Forester. In May, we drove through Grand Junction on our way to Las Vegas and decided to add it to our car camping list for the fall. Of course, the weekend we went was the ONE WEEKEND the weather decided to get really cold in Fruita, Colorado. Whilst at our BLM (Bureau of Land Management) camp-site, we decided to record an updated video for you – and since it was pretty cold overnight we also showed you how we kept warm in our car. Our Luno Life fitted air mattress has been such a great investment (video review with your questions coming next week). We added a few more things to the Forester, like a Yakima Slim Shady Awning, a BougeRV car doorstep (to access our roof box) and few other accessories.
