Electric and magnetic fields or EMF is the electrical activity produced by a non-electrical source. The invisible areas of energy emitted by EMF are referred to as radiation. EMF Radiation can be man-made or natural. The Electromagnetic Spectrum is divided into sections from low to high radiation strength. Selective Area Monitors such as the Narda AMS-8061 can be used to continuously assess electromagnetic radiation levels.
