The PFAD-900 is a high quality cable television audio/video demodulator utilizing microprocessor controlled tuning. The unit demodulates VHF, UHF and cable channels from 54 MHz to 806 MHz. IRC and HRC offsets can be activated by push button switches located in the front panel. The PFAD-900 incorporates a phase locked loop synthesized L.O. on conjunction with a non-volatile microprocessor for precise frequency selection. The unit accepts any NTSC television signal in the 54 MHz to 806 MHz frequency range and converts it to base band video and audio. Three additional outputs are provided by the PFAD-900; an I.F. output to monitor the status of the tuner and also for use with other up converters, a 4.5 MHz sub carrier and a broadband multiplex output for MPX/BTSC stereo application.
