Digicon is a unique, trouble-free F-connector system that enhances your ability to deliver flawless analog and digital RF communications. Using a 360 degree conical swedge compression, Digicon delivers a high performance termination in your network. For installation versatility, there are two versions of the Digicon connector; the S series and the Standard series. Both versions feature identical specifications and performance capabilities and both connectors terminate utilizing the same conical swedge technology. In the Standard series, the die that creates the swedge is located in the tool, while the S series die is resident in the connector itself. Additionally, the S series connectors are color coded for quick identification. Both connectors provide the ultimate weather-tight termination with unbeatable performance and reliability.
Take advantage of Digicon's unique features:
machined brass sealing rings located in the final compression taper create a permanent water barrier at the connector base;
a lubricated internal O-ring prevents moisture migration at the mandrel nut;
a large ferrule contact surface ensures a proper RF and digital interface;
a free-spinning brass tin-plated body and nickel-plated nut provide superior corrosion resistance and durability;
a nut that is 50 percent larger, 20 percent deeper, with 30 percent more threads allows a more firm grip and provides a secure weather-tight connection at the port interface as compared to conventional industry standard connectors.
