Overview: The HTS-400 has a purple top and dark gray bottom. It has four 3-pronged color coded AC outlets on top labeled SAT/AV Receiver (Yellow), DVD (Red), TV/Monitor (Green) and Accessory (Light green). In addition to these four AC outlets there are three sets of gold plated, threaded coax inputs and outputs labeled Antenna, Sat and Cable TV. Next to the coax connections there are two RJ11 telephone jacks labeled Phone/Sat In and Phone/Sat Out. There is an illuminated power on/off switch on the front. A Ground OK LED which illuminates in green when the outlet is properly grounded and a Protection On LED which illuminates in amber when the suppressor is working properly are located on top between the AC outlets. There is a Reset button on the side to reset the circuit breaker designed to prevent use of the suppressor with components which exceed the suppressor's current rating.

Keyhole slots: Keyhole slots are located on the back of the suppressor to allow for easy wall mounting (wall screws not supplied).

Connected Equipment: The HTS-400 carries a $50,000 connected equipment warranty. Monster Cable will replace, pay to repair or pay the fair market value of equipment that is damaged by an AC power, cable, telephone or lighting surge while properly connected to the Monster Cable HTS-400 Power Center. Properly connected means that all AC and phone outlets must be plugged into the surge protector and that there are no unprotected ground paths or the $50,000 warranty is invalid.
