Telstar 5 and other satellite TV programming is available in North America to hotels and motels as well as dormitories, hospitals, lodges and nursing homes.
Usually, free-to-guest programming is part of a SMATV (Satellite Master Antenna Television) system that provides TV viewing throughout the complex. Select satellite channels, chosen by the proprietor, are added to local "off-air" channels as well as closed circuit (text editor) channels and possibly pay-per view.
The addition of satellite channels will increase the desirability of your hotel.
